The project for my Business for Visual Design class was a semester long project where the entire class worked together to create a business. That business was then given a client who came to us with a design problem. The class then came up with a solution and presented it to the client as our business.
Ignyte Ideas was our business we created for ourselves a logo and leave behind that we could give to the client after we presented our solution.
Our client asked us to create advertisements that would draw attention to sexual abuse of children.
We searched through different statistics and approaches on the subject and finally landed on what we called the six minute statistic. We found a visual way of displaying that statistic and spread it across different advertising methods in order to hit all the parents we could.
For our leave behind we wanted something that was out of the ordinary so they would remember us. We ran with the flame icon of our logo and created an oversized matchbox with a booklet and USB inside.
